Patented Recoil Technology

Recoil, rewritten in magnetism.

The Magnetic Buffer System replaces the century-old mil-spec spring with a sealed stack of repelling rare-earth magnets. No spring. No lubrication. No wear. Just a smoother, quieter recoil stroke — engineered by Fry Tech, licensed to PAMAX Tactical.

The MSBC, up close.

Sealed magnetics doing the work a spring used to — watch the system run.

01 The System

A buffer with nothing to wear out.

Conventional buffers rely on a coiled steel spring that fatigues, sings, and demands lubrication. The MBS removes it entirely — and the problems with it.

/ 01

Springless

Pure magnetic repulsion carries the bolt carrier through the stroke — no coil, no fatigue.

/ 02

Zero lubrication

Sealed and frictionless internally. Nothing to oil, nothing to attract carbon.

/ 03

No twang

Eliminates the metallic ring of a mil-spec spring for a quieter, composed cycle.

/ 04

True drop-in

Installs like any mil-spec tube. Pull the release tab and the system is live.

02 The Physics

Staged magnetic resistance.

Eight rare-earth magnets are precisely spaced and oriented north-to-north inside a sealed tube. As the bolt carrier drives rearward, it compresses an invisible field — resistance that climbs progressively rather than snapping back.

Because the field is staged, the system absorbs carrier inertia in phases, each calibrated to the mass and velocity of your caliber. The result is a flatter recoil impulse and a faster return to target.

04 Finish Work

Cerakote, done with the same obsession.

Beyond the buffer, Fry Tech runs a precision Cerakote shop. Hand-prepped, oven-cured ceramic finishes that protect against corrosion and wear — and look the part.

Single-tone, multi-color, camo, stencils, battleworn and full custom graphics. Every job is masked and sprayed in-house.

Safety: the MBS is sealed and not designed for disassembly. The internal rare-earth magnets are extremely powerful and can cause injury if mishandled. Tampering voids the warranty.

Safety — the MBS contains powerful sealed rare-earth magnets and is not user-serviceable. Keep clear of pacemakers, magnetic media, and children. Do not disassemble; doing so risks injury and voids the warranty. Specifications and pricing are subject to change without notice.
